Alan C. Thorell

Alan C. Thorell,

Conroe & Montgomery


Alan received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and followed up with a Master's degree in physical therapy from Texas Women's University in 1988. He has been practicing Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy for 33 years now in and around the Houston Metro area and Montgomery County.

His education and experience has provided him an excellent grasp on what it takes to help the body heal from orthopedic injuries and post surgical repairs. Past experience includes working with athletes from the Dallas Mavericks and Bela Karolyi's United States Women's Gymnastics Team. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) which makes him well qualified to help anyone restore strength and general conditioning before and after injuries.

During the past ten years he was instrumental in developing multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics in cities north of Houston including The Woodlands, Conroe, and Montgomery. He is active in the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and private practice section and is dedicated to the profession of physical therapy. Opening his own outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Montgomery has helped him see a dream of his to serve the community that he lives in and cares for.

Brody Lawhon

Dr. Brody Lawhon is The Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.  Dr. Lawhon coordinates, leads, and directs our clinical staff and department.  He embraces the concept of evidence based medicine in all approaches with his patients.

Dr. Lawhon has been practicing for nine years and is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch.  His undergraduate was earned at the University of Texas at Austin earning a BS in Sports Medicine.  He is also a nationally and state certified Athletic Trainer and has complete various projects with the NFL Coaches Association and UT Athletics.

Dr. Lawhon takes pride in offering the best care to every patient.  Out and about in the community, he finds great satisfaction in encountering patients who are regaining the ability to function at home, work, or on the field of play.

He resides in Montgomery Texas with his wife Tricia and son, Ryker.

Dawn Happe

Dawn Happe,



Dawn received her BS in Allied Health Medicine, Certificate in PT from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH in 1985. She has 35 years of well-rounded experience in a broad spectrum of Physical Therapy disciplines. She has been an exceptional Physical Therapist providing care in outpatient, acute care, rehabilitation, and home health settings since she obtained her degree.

Matthew Soileau

Matthew Soileau,

Matt completed his undergraduate studies in Louisiana then earned his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at UTMB Galveston. He has been in practice since 2000 in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings. His primary focus has been outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. He had an initial interest and extensive training in the McKenzie Method of spine treatment. He has been an employee of Montgomery Physical Therapy since September 2013. He has been married for 19 years and has 3 children.

Becca Holden

Becca Holden,
Physical Therapist Assistant


Becca obtained her Associated Degree of Applied Science from Lone Star College in 2014 as a licensed physical therapist assistant. Her skills vary from geriatrics, ortho, gait/balance, and neuro, while practicing in multiple settings ranging from inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, home health acute and outpatient therapies.

Becca is certified as a Pilate’s reformer instructor and incorporated these skills into her patients therapy sessions.

Prior to moving to Texas, she obtained certification as an EMT from South Louisiana College and practiced as a certified EMT in emergency services for six years. Becca also served as a member of the Medic Support Center as well as the tissue and eye donation recovery team.
