To our MPT Patients,
We know you are concerned about the spread of COVID-19 and how it may impact you regarding your physical therapy. Our ultimate goal is to make sure you are cared for in a safe and healthy environment.
Please be assured that our office is taking the precautions and preventative practices being recommended by the centers for disease control and prevention. In an attempt to put your mind at ease regarding the virus, we wanted to reiterate to you how our office has always adhered to the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility in our normal practice. Now, more than ever, we are going above and beyond our regular protocols to ensure every surface touched by each patient is sterilized before being touched by the next one. Going forward, we will be increasing the cleaning and disinfecting of the high traffic surfaces and areas such as the waiting room and restrooms.
Although health care facilities are exempt from the six foot rule, we still making every effort to adhere to these standards. We will also begin taking every patient’s forehead temperature before entering the therapy area. If you are still not comfortable entering the practice we wanted to offer some alternative solutions to keep you progressing towards your physical therapy goals.
- We can provide a PT or PTA to come to your home. Please call to schedule such an appointment
- If you don’t have a home exercise program already, we will provide one for you via email.
- We are exploring telehealth where we can guide you through your therapy via video.
All of these options are available to you. Please call our office for questions or to schedule: (936) 597-5323 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We will stay up to date on the federal government’s recommendations as they may continue to change. Our practice is in close contact with the local and state health department and is also following their guidance.
