Alan C. Thorell, P.T. M.S.,
CSCS
Alan received a
bachelors degree in Business Administration and
Accounting from Augustana College in Rock Island
Illinois and followed up with a Masters degree from
Texas Women's University in 1988. He has been practicing
Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy for 18
years now in and around the Houston Metro area.
His education and experience has
provided him an excellent grasp on what it takes to help
the body heal from orthopedic injuries and post surgical
repairs. Past experience includes working with athletes
from the Dallas Mavericks and Bela Karolyi's United
States Women's Gymnastics Team. He is also a Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) which makes
him well qualified to help anyone restore strength and
general conditioning before and after injuries. In
addition to this, he has further training in restoring
balance to those with balance disorders of the
somatosensory system, vestibular system (inner ear), or
Central Nervous System.
During the past ten years he was
instrumental in developing multiple outpatient
orthopedic clinics in cities north of Houston including
The Woodlands, Conroe, and Montgomery. Opening his own
outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in
Montgomery has helped him see a dream of his to serve
the community that he lives in and cares for.
The doors of Montgomery Physical
Therapy opened for business on April 4th, 2005.
